Nissan GT-R vs Nurburgring - Round 2

Not satisfied with the well known 7:38:54 time , and the unpublicized 7:37.5 time , Nissan is rumored to be headed back to the Nurburgring with the R35 Nissan GT-R, testing out some changes to the regular GT-R. The major changes to the suspension are supposed to be dramatic enough to mean that the revised suspension components will not retrofit onto the earlier cars. Pretty bad news if you bought the $9000 or $11,000 Mines/Sachs suspension This running change will be applied to all the cars being produced if it is successful at the 'ring.

Perhaps the Corvette ZR1 and the Lexus LF-A are breathing down Nissans neck a little bit hard , and this will be the way for their $70,000 car to stay even with its $100,000 competitors. Now Nissan has to be able to release and distribute the car in the US without the rumored $20k-$30k markups that most of the dealer network will be asking.Source

I have no problem paying over MSRP. This car will have extremely high demand once it hits in the US. Many dealers in my area, California, have sold the car for $30-$50k over MSPR and gotten it with no problem. We have been waiting for a car like this in the US for a long time!!!
