Add one more Formula 1 driver to the list of Nissan GT-R fans/owners. Fairuz Fauzy, newly announced driver for Lotus, has owned a Nissan GT-R since early 2008. Cobb blog posted up a story on Fariuz and the Accessport that he is using on his R35 GT-R.
Newly announced Lotus Formula 1 driver Fairuz Fauzy has been a Nissan GT-R R35 owner since importing one of the first into Europe in early 2008. Fairuz and his Nissan GT-R are regular visitors to Silverstone, Nurburgring, Brands Hatch, Santa Pod drag strip and even Wembley Stadium for the Race of Champions. Fairuz has thoroughly flogged every custom map that GTC’s tuner Ben Linney has thrown his way, from the early days of v108 and v108b maps to recent proportional gain boost control custom tunes and gear throttle multiplier maps.
