Linhbergh Nguyen from Speedhunters had a chance to accompany Boost Logic/Tuning Concepts to the Texas Mile speed event .
The Texas Mile and events like it have become popular over the last few years. The concept is pretty simple. Its like drag racing, except instead of a quarter mile, its a mile long. The “number” that people are trying for is speed at the end of that standing mile.
Trying every trick to get some more speed. Taping up the seams. They even removed the wing for some more straight line speed.
Mirrors tucked in. Leaving the line on its 203.6 mph pass.
The slip.
Modified Nissan GT-R’s have gone 190,195 mph, but no one had broken the magical 200 mph mark in the standing mile until Boost Logics black, wingless, beast.
Head over to this post for a video of the pass and results from other Nissan GT-R’s at the event.
