Are you in Japan? Do you own a 2011 MY Japan R35 GT-R? Standard, EGOIST, or SPECV, Nismo has ECM(engine control module) and TCM(transmission control module) upgrades available....for rent. Yes. For rent. Why would you want to rent a ECM and TCM?
Warranty. NISMO will warranty parts relating to installation. When you are finished renting the ECM and TCM, NISMO will return your factory TCM and ECM and your Nissan Warranty will be restored.
NISMO says the Sports Resetting TCM and ECM will give you a low and medium speed boost that is ideal for circuit and closed course use. No hard and fast boost, horsepower or torque increase information. At 294,000 yen ($3600 USD) for a 24 month rental in Japan and only available in Japan, it is not a cheap upgrade, however the warranty does help to give you peace of mind. If you already had the Nismo Sport Resetting ECM and TCM for your 2007-2010 GT-R, and purchase a 2011,then the upgrade cost is 189,000 yen ($2329).
