GReddy has just released some information on their big bore, and stroker kits for the VR38DETT. There are a few options, such as Darton sleeves for the 4.0 stroker, and CNC ported cylinder heads at an additional cost. There is no replacement for displacement, and the largest possible setup, with a 99.5 mm bore, and 94.4 mm of stroke will give you just over 4.4 liters of displacement.
GReddy is using proven good components in the engines, JE pistons, Carillo rods, and lots of parts are WPC coated. If you are looking for more displacement, with minimal downtime, this might be an option for you.

We have found that the factory cylinder heads has quite a bit of variance in volume from chamber to chamber and left to right due to the casting. We offer CNC machined combustion chamber to match each combustion chamber for the perfect balance from cylinder to cylinder and from left to right bank and improving the chamber design for optimal combustion for high power engine. The CNC program was designed by an engineer who has over 20 years of experience building and machining race/high performance engine and cylinder heads from F1 to GT race cars.
