The Japanese market 2013 Nissan GT-R, is the US version 2014 Nissan GT-R. The 2014 car has slight upgrades vs the 2013 car. There are several minor changes/improvements to make the fast car even faster. 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds. They still have some interesting theories on weight. They claim that reducing weight by 200 lbs would slow 0-60 mph to 3.3 seconds, and that stopping distance on a wet track would increase to 115 feet. Honestly you could easily see that much of a difference in car weight just from fuel load(19.5 gallons of fuel at 6 lbs per gallon= 117 lbs), driver weight, and vehicle load(how much crap you are carrying in the car).
From the video they claim there is an all new GT-R in the pipeline, but several more revisions are coming up. Nissan is also going to be headed back to the Nurburgring 24 Hour to compete again, in hopes of improving the car yet again.
Check out the video below.Nissan GT-R which continues evolving every year. The GT-R team led by Mr. Mizuno carried the 2013 year model into the Sugao circuit this year also!
