For 2014, GT500 regulations have started to align with DTM specs, making more cars eligible for racing worldwide. In this video from Nissan, we see the 2014 GT500 car testing at Fuji Speedway, in a light snow. It seems now its going to be even more like NASCAR with 60-70% common spec parts, engines and body panels/aero being unique. It is a good thing for costs, it is an odd thing for development. Always feel a little torn on having spec parts like, monocoque, dampers, transmission, brakes, and fuel tank. Watch the video below.
