Sir Chris Hoy put a NISMO R35 GT-R deep into some hay bales at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Check out the video below. Came in a bit hot. Not enough brakes, too much turn, and straight off.
On the Saturday of the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed Sir Chris Hoy, British cycling legend, swapped 2 wheels for 4 wheels in the form of a Nissan GT-R Nismo 2014 Edition--a 3.8L twin turbo monster with more than 590+bhp and costing upward of £100k+.
Racing in the Goodwood Hill Climb, Sir Chris came over the brow into the braking zone for Molcomb, a corner that has caught out many a driver over the years. Crashing through the hay bales, the front of Chris's GTR crumpled from the impact resulting in the vehicle's air bag being deployed.
Sir Chris emerges unscathed with the presence of mind to put on his hat and sunglasses and is taken away to be examined by medics, just as a precaution.
