Now this was a wild ride. At the end of a standing 1/2 mile 222 mph pass at the Shift S3ector event this last weekend, this Nissan Alpha 20 GT-R spun. Luckily he missed anything too solid, and was able to drive back to the pits under his own power.
From the reports, just above 218 mph the ABS sensors run out of range. This can cause some problems.
"... this a lot better than me but from what was explained from the logs is that at 218mph the TC pretty much stops working and the car becomes a rear wheel drive car,there was a difference in wheel speed between the rear's and front's and a spike in RPM , also the ABS is effected somehow and the car reacts differently when applying the brakes at that speed,whether it was 100% the cause or not it should still be a factor to take in to consideration as we are in uncharted territory as we push these cars well beyond the limit of what they were designed for,
